he goal of this project was to visualize a powerful verse from the film Blade Runner 2049: “The World is built in a wall that separates kind. Tell either side there's no wall, you've bought a war.” This quote carries a weight of boldness and seriousness, and I was drawn to the challenge of visualizing some of the futuristic scents from the film. However, a major limitation of this project was that typography had to be the primary design element in every composition. Each segment of the verse was divided and visualized strictly through type, making it the central force behind the design. Type has always fascinated me with its power and potential, and this project deepened that admiration, as it forced me to explore its nuances and made me think about new and innovative ways, I can solve problems through design.
